Like reading at home... Mingus Springs Charter School celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with Read Across America. Community members visited classrooms throughout the day (Wednesday, March 2) reading favorite stories to the students (kindergarten - eighth grade), such as Jeremy Sutton, Air Force Reserves Tech. Sergeant and Prescott Police Officer; Julie Bryce, Assistant Principal at Chino Valley High School; Jim Bunker, Chino Valley Mayor; Chris Igel, Yavapai County Sherriff Department VIP (Volunteer in Protection) and Mingus Springs Board President; Billy Davis and Garrett Worster of the Arizona Adrenaline Football Team, both players are past residents of Chino Valley and Garrett is a Chino Valley High School graduate; and Rocket the Roadrunner, Mascot for the Arizona Adrenaline Football Team.

Mingus Springs Charter School celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday with Read Across America on March 2. Community members read favorite stories to the students in kindergarten-eighth grade.
