When there as so many different Christian churches, how do I choose?
Consumers have a lot of different kinds of cereals out there to pick from. Marshmallows, chocolate, fruits, nuts, raisins... How can you decide? Do you go for the one with more sugar or because you like the tiger or honeybee or leprechaun on the box? Do you choose because of nutritional value?

Christ is not a 'mere man'
It is a teaching of the Bahá'í Faith that the Holy Spirit has manifested Himself in our world a number of times over the years in personages such as Krishna, Buddha, Moses, Zoroaster, Christ, Muhammad and Bahá'u'lláh and with each appearance has spawned a new religion.

Why do bad things happen to me?
There are a lot of answers people give to that question. "Maybe God does not love you." "Maybe he is punishing you for something." Everyone has their own opinions about why bad stuff happens, but I don't like those answers very much.

I want to read the Bible. What is a good plan?
"Where do I begin?" is a question I have often asked. People can ask the same question about reading their Bible. Realize that the Bible is a special book. It is the most special of all the books ever written. God gave us the Bible as He enabled men to write down His very words and thoughts. People can ask Him to help them understand what He is saying when they read it.

Bahá'í faith says healing miracles are spiritual, not physical
What does it mean when the Scriptures say that the dead are raised, the blind receive sight and the deaf began to hear?

Does prayer really make a difference?
Have you ever asked yourself, "Does prayer really work?" Maybe you have been praying for a long time and have not received the answer you wanted, or felt that there hasn't been any change. Prayer really does make a difference.

Why should I get up in the morning and live life?
I always wanted to be a morning person. You know the kind of people that whistle on the way to the shower, sing while they dress, and practice a Fonzie impression while combing their hair. Unfortunately, I am not that kind of person.

Bahá'í vs. secular humanism
The Bahá'í Writings say, "...Each of us is responsible for one life only, and that is our own. Each of us is immeasurably far from being 'perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect' and the task of perfecting our own life and character is one that requires all our attention, our willpower and energy.

What's so important about Jesus dying and rising from the dead?
"I don't want to die." "I'm afraid to die... I don't know what's out there..."

We've all known people who've said these things. Something you know nothing about or something you know a lot about - it's a pretty easy decision. Most everyone feels more confident with what they are familiar. That's why we don't want to die.

Is God knowable?
The Bahá'í Writings state that the God's "essence" is unknowable, not unlike these statements from the Gospel: "No man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son" (Matt 11:27) and "No man hath seen God at any time." (John 1:18)

How can I be happy when I hurt so badly?
"It has been eight months since my baby died, and it still tears me up. Sometimes I feel so angry and bitter that God took my baby." Jenny said to Carol.

"I've gotten angry, too. It's just not right that children die. But I don't blame God. He made it possible for me to have peace after Alex died. God didn't bring death into this world."

Faith in God comes through Jesus Christ
Consider for a moment the fact that there is absolute truth and absolute falsehood. God reveals His absolute truth - Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible. God condemns any addition to or subtraction from his Word.

One God, many teachers
To consider the idea that all of the world's major religions believe in the same God, and that all of the founders of these major religions are equal in the eyes of God certainly challenges past beliefs.
