Letter: Thanks for a lightning-strike save

It's never too late to say thank you and express appreciation for an awesome, life-saving outcome.

On July 25 while golfing at Antelope Hills I was struck by lightning. Upon seeing my condition, golfing buddies, Craig Finis, Dick Nichols and Dave Helgeson without hesitation took aggressive action immediately. Craig was on the phone to 911 and Dick and Dave began administering CPR as soon as they reached me. They brought me back only to have me drop off again as the EMT's arrived.

Chino Valley Fire Department, covering for Prescott at the airport, quickly resumed CPR during a strong rain/hail storm. EMT's Rob Zazueta, Doug Copenhaven and Terry Jacobsen were literally Johnny on the Spot. Terry resumed CPR and successfully resuscitated me.

I owe my life to these six extraordinary Angels of Mercy!
