Special to the Review

Dr. Leonda Armstrong of Circle L Animal Hospital has been elected to lead the Chino Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2011-12 according to Chamber CEO Ab Jackson.

"Dr. Armstrong has been a terrific member of our Chamber Board serving two terms as Board Treasurer," said Jackson. "She has also been Chair and Co-Chair of our Hometown Chino Christmas and Scholarship Committees," he added.

"Circle L Animal Hospital has been a two-time Platinum Sponsor and has been an advertiser on the Chamber Enhancement Center for four years," Jackson said. "She will make a fine Board President.

Armstrong succeeds Dean John Morgan of Yavapai College. Morgan took over the Presidency in August when Charlie Arnold stepped down to conduct the successful KOA project for Jack Tuls.

"We have been blessed with fine leaders in the five and a half years I've been here," noted Jackson. "Dr. Armstrong will add leadership and she understands our Chamber finances which will be a big plus."

Tom Payne of Tom's Print and Signs was chosen as President-Elect and Robin Christie will serve a second term as Chamber Board Secretary.

Morgan will pass the gavel to Armstrong at the July Chamber Luncheon.
