Shopping for the ranch at Cattleman's Weekend
Ranchers from Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado demonstrated skills of horses they have for sale, as well as cattle for sale, at the annual Cattleman's Weekend March 18-19 at the Prescott Livestock Auction grounds in Chino Valley. People enjoyed a trade show and a barbecue. Chino Valley residents Richard and Janet Smyer own and operate the Auction, starting the Cattleman's Weekend 22 years ago. Read more about them in a Meet Your Neighbor feature titled, "Behind the scenes at Cattleman's Weekend."
